Brief Biographical Sketch:
I love to talk about infinity! I taught in the fall of 2012 and got excited about Splash so I joined the admin team. I have since graduated after serving Splash for 4 years, and now just teach. If you have any questions about infinity or Yale life, feel free to email me at daniel.hwang@yale.edu Past Classes(Clicking a class title will bring you to the course's section of the corresponding course catalog)X2785: University Tycoon in Splash Spring 17 (Apr. 08, 2017)
You're now in charge of a major research university! What are the things you need to think about in order to make sure everything runs smoothly?
M2786: To Infinity and Beyond! in Splash Spring 17 (Apr. 08, 2017)
How big is infinity? What is beyond infinity? How can you work with infinity?
We’ll be discussing different levels of infinitude, creating elegant proofs, and solving riddles with infinity to note some of the most interesting properties of infinitude.
C2438: To Infinity and Beyond! in Sprout Spring 17 (Feb. 11 25, 2017)
How do you add people to a fully occupied infinite hotel? When we are little, we have a pretty basic understanding of infinity, how we can count and count and never end. But when we do more complicated work with infinity, it suddenly isn't so intuitive. How do we deal with that concept when it is applied to different theoretical scenarios?

C2114: Being A Princess: A Look Into Disney in Sprout Fall 16 (Oct. 01 15, 2016)
Being a princess is tough work. Sometimes. In this class, we will critically analyze how Disney princesses are portrayed, their interactions with other characters, their strengths, and their faults, as well as look at the princesses in the context of the Disney empire and time period. Come prepared to rethink how you feel about some of the most iconic animated films.
