College/Employer: Yale

Year of Graduation: 2019

Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am from Norwell, MA, a small suburb just south of Boston. Although I came to Yale to study math, I have many passions! I am a huge foodie- I shamelessly Instagram my favorite meals, and I rarely order the same thing twice. I love exploring the outdoors by hiking, walking, cycling, kayaking, really anything but running. Running is hard and makes me sad. I am a fiercely loyal cat person, but I would never turn down a basket of puppies if someone offered me that (but I would prefer kittens...) I am absolutely fascinated by the positive psychology movement and its empowering applications. I have extensive experience as a tutor- during high school I was always tutoring between 3 and 6 students, in subjects ranging from math to Latin. I particularly enjoy educating others in a service context, which led me to volunteer as a tutor at a homeless shelter back home. At Yale, I am also involved in the Yale Precision Marching Band, Mathcounts (a math outreach organization), Blue Haven (an organization committed to improving Yale-New Haven collaboration), and the Yale Undergraduate Prison Project. I look forward to working with you all!
