Brief Biographical Sketch:

Sophia is a first year in PM, looking to study narrative medicine and the medical humanities. She is involved in research at the Ring lab on campus, studying the NK cell protein interactome. She also participates in the Yale Scientific Magazine (YSM) as co-president of the high school outreach branch and writes a column as a part of Scope (YSM's blog). Sophia also loves creative writing and performs spoken word in the groups JookSongs. In her free time, you can find her playing volleyball, sketching, or diligently watering her only succulent.

A4364: Writing from the Margins in Splash Spring 2021 (Apr. 24, 2021)
In this writing workshop, we will examine works of poetry and spoken word performances by writers of color. We will then do some writing of our own—poetry, prose, spoken word, and genre-defying works—and exchange feedback. This workshop is open to students of all backgrounds!
