Hi, I'm Julius! I'm originally from Connecticut, and I'm currently a first year student at the University of Texas at Austin! I'm a Marxist-Leninist, and while I'm currently undecided I plan on majoring in government and journalism!

A4406: Revolution Versus Reform in Splash Spring 2021 (Apr. 24, 2021)
Howdy y'all! In this class, we'll take a look at the longstanding conflict between revolution and reform. Using both historical examples and real-world issues that are happening right now, we will learn more about tactics surrounding revolution and reform and connect this to colonialism, capitalism, and imperialism. This class will include a presentation, some interactive activities, and opportunities to discuss and ask questions!

A4329: Leftist Politics and the World Today in Splash Fall 2020 (Nov. 14, 2020)
What does it mean to be “on the left?” Who is oppressed and who is oppressing? How do we free ourselves and our marginalized relatives from the systems that cause them harm around the world? We will discuss all these questions and more in this introductory class in leftist politics in the world in which we live today! In this class, we will develop a deeper understanding of socialism, anarchism, and democratic structures, as well as how they manifest themselves in contemporary political, economic, and social struggles. With nothing but a pen, some paper, and a curious mind, be prepared to delve into an entirely new political imagination than the one given to you on the nightly news!
