Brief Biographical Sketch:

My name is Adam Zhang, and I'm from Audubon, Pennsylvania. Since high school, I've been interested in the sciences and medical research and intend to become a doctor. Some of my hobbies include tennis, hanging out with friends, playing piano, violin, and guitar, and watching cooking videos. And I absolutely love Starbucks!

What is the meaning of life? This is a question that has puzzled philosophers, scientists, theologians, and ordinary people for centuries. In this course, we will explore various philosophical, scientific, and religious perspectives on the meaning of life. We will examine the different ways in which people have tried to find meaning in life and the various theories that have been proposed to explain our existence.


X4452: How to Play "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran: Introduction to Guitar in Splash Fall 2021 (Nov. 13, 2021)
Guitar is one of the most versatile and popular instruments around. In this course, we will provide a basic overview of how to play the guitar by learning Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." Prior guitar experience and having a guitar on hand will be helpful, but not necessary to take this course!

In this class, we will aim to answer these important questions by examining the life, death, and resurrection of the person of Jesus Christ. No prior exposure to religion and/or Christianity is needed - all are welcome!
