Alana (she/her) is a sophomore double-majoring in political science and music. She is from a small town in New Hampshire where her parents work as public school teachers, inspiring her passionate advocacy for public education. At Yale, you can find her exploring the wonderful city of New Haven, enjoying the various political organizations on campus, working on projects with GREEN at Yale, singing/producing/songwriting, and smiling all the time! X4404: Small- and Large-scale Sustainable Impact in Splash Spring 2021 (Apr. 24, 2021)
GREEN at Yale is teaching a class that examines the effectiveness of both small- and large-scale sustainable solutions and reconciles both approaches out of necessity in order to tackle the climate crisis. There are no course prerequisites, but basic knowledge about human-driven climate change and its different manifestations are helpful.
