From the yeast that rise our bread to the ocean microbes that create more than half of our world’s oxygen, microbes affect every part of our lives. In this course you will discover the many microbes that live in, on, and around you, as well as uncovering the unseen ways they shape your life. You will become a scientist as you sample Yale for microbes, discover how they work, and connect with fellow scientists about the life, school, and work of scientists here in New Haven.
