Brief Biographical Sketch:

My name is Willow Sylvester, I'm a first-generation student at Yale College studying Global Affairs, currently in my junior year. My passion is refugee studies and policy-making, and I've spent the past two summers in Africa studying just that! Outside of classroom teaching, I have experience teaching swim lessons to younger kids, chairing Model Congress sessions for high schoolers, and working with exchange students to help them adapt to a new culture.
