Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a first-generation college student from Detroit, Michigan that has a passion for rebuilding the inner city. Teaching and mentoring are some of my favorite things to do, along with reading and learning. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball and I play on Yale's Men Club team. I'm looking forward to teaching through Splash and look forward to meeting you!

H4697: A Man Named Jesus in Splash Spring 2023 (Apr. 01, 2023)
How does a carpenter from Nazareth that lived 2,000 years ago become the most famous person to ever live? What was it about his life and death that drew the masses and revolutionized history? In this class we will explore the moments leading up to Jesus' birth, the events that defined his life, and his death that shook the world. Everyone from all backgrounds is welcome and encouraged to attend.

H4647: A Life Worth Living in Splash Fall 2022 (Oct. 29, 2022)
What makes a life worth living? This course will look to explore this complex idea, through integrating key concepts within society, tradition, philosophy, and religion. Some people may have a quick response for this question, while others may still be searching, and students will be given the opportunity to contribute, discuss, and reflect on their collective ideas. Rather than focusing on abstract concepts, the aim will be to establish fundamental truths and then build out subjective frameworks. Everyone is welcome!
