E4934: Bronze Age Greece in Sprout Fall 2024 (Oct. 05 - 12, 2024)
Why did the Bronze Age peoples rise and suddenly fall? What can we find out about societies that left almost no written records? We will explore the world of Bronze Age Greece (Cycladics, Minoans, and Mycenaeans) and discover how surprisingly modern and global it was in some ways, but far removed from us in other ways. No prior knowledge of ancient history is required. All are welcome!

H4910: Why do we hate? in Splash Spring 2024 (Apr. 06, 2024)
Why do we get angry at others for their opinions? Why do we hate them? This course will attempt to answer these questions from an interdisciplinary lens, drawing on everything from ancient philosophy to modern-day psychology and neuroscience! All this will culminate in a discussion of the ethical implications of hating someone.
