Carbon is central to the composition of our body, and in fact, all living organisms contain some form of carbon. We can find them in carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acid and so many more! In this class, we will give a general introduction to the study of these carbon-containing molecules: Organic Chemistry. We will specifically go over different types of bonds, hydrocarbon chains, molecule representations (stick, wedge and dash structures), and conformations.
