Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a first year from Los Angeles, California studying Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, with a possible certificate in Global Health. In high school, I competed for and taught Science Olympiad, which provided me with foundational science knowledge and encouraged me to learn more about the world. I also competed in Ocean Sciences Bowl, Science Bowl, and Quiz Bowl. At Yale, I write for the Yale Daily News and the Scientific Magazine, and play violin in the Davenport Pops and Berkeley College Orchestra. In my free time, I love bird watching, completing crossword puzzles, and hiking.
