Brief Biographical Sketch:
I'm a first-year in Yale College from New Haven, majoring in Earth and Planetary Sciences on the Paleontology and Geobiology track. I love all things fossils, but I'm a particular fan of the Devonian period, and I currently work in the Invertebrate Paleontology collections at the Peabody Museum. Outside of work, I can be found coaching debate or doing taekwondo. I'm always happy to talk about fossils, and I'd love to answer any questions about them! What is a fossil? What does it tell us about Earth's prehistoric life, and how do we really know?
Learn about fossils of extinct invertebrates, the ancestors of our modern-day squid, octopi, sea stars, and coral. See (and touch!) fossils that older than dinosaurs, and become a paleontologist to discover when, where, and how these creatures lived.
