Brief Biographical Sketch:
Kate is a sophomore studying Biomedical Engineering at Yale University. She was born and raised in New Haven, CT and graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 2022. At Yale, she is part of the Yale Engineers Without Borders team, plays soccer with the Yale Womens' Club Soccer Team, and sings with the Something Extra a cappella group. These questions are all explored in the field of quantum mechanics! Quantum mechanics is a very large field that studies the very small. It has fascinating applications in chemistry, physics, and beyond. In this course, we will dive into this subject to learn more about the quantum realm and how it makes up the world as we know it!
