X3092: The Splash Wizard Tournament: A Harry Potter Trivia Contest in Splash Spring 18 (Apr. 07, 2018)
Stock up on powdered dragon claw so you can rule at this year's Splash Wizard Tournament (of Harry Potter Trivia)! Note that the most stringent anti-cheating charms have been applied to the contest. Auto-Answer Quills are banned from the hall, as are Remembralls, Detachable Cribbing Cuffs and Self-Correcting Ink. Note: if you're a second year Splash page (i.e. have taken this class at a previous Splash) the questions won't be new to you.


E3057: Learn to Knit! in Sprout Spring 18 (Feb. 17 - Mar. 03, 2018)
Knitting is a process that turns yarn into fabric. By learning a single stitch, you can transform yarn into your very own scarf. By learning two stitches (knitting and purling), you can begin creating cool patterns like seed stitch and ribbing. In this class, you'll learn to cast on (start), and begin knitting a scarf!

In this class, we will look at one of the age-old questions philosophers, scientists, and many others have tried to answer: What makes us who we are? That is, What part of our brain/mind/existence makes us unique, gives us personality, makes us US? This class will focus on readings and discussions of works by philosophers throughout history, such as Plato, Descartes, and Hume.
