Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm a sophomore at Yale majoring in cognitive science with a focus in education. I have a passion for American Sign Language, deaf studies, and deaf culture. I'm from DC and take classes at Gallaudet University (the only liberal arts university for the deaf in the world) every summer. I also have a variety of interests in other languages, linguistics, mathematics, medicine, the outdoors, running, gymnastics, and music.

H3662: American Sign Language in Splash Spring 19 (Apr. 06, 2019)
Students will learn how to fingerspell the alphabet in American Sign Language, how to fingerspell their names, and how to sign words related to colors, school, and food terminology, not to mention participate in fun, engaging signing games! No previous knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) is required; the only requirement is an eagerness to learn and readiness to sign!
