Brief Biographical Sketch:

As a kid, I wanted to major in engineering. Don't ask me why, none of my close relatives are in exact science fields. However, everything changed in high school, when I simply fell in love with Physics through a whole bunch of physics, astronomy and math competitions. After walking through an extremely non-trivial path, I left my warm home country of Brazil to come to cold New Haven, and now I study Physics (the most beautiful and the hardest thing I could possibly study) at the Hogwarts of real life (a.k.a. Yale). In the future, I want to do very cool research that gets me out of bed in the morning and teach at university level.
