Brief Biographical Sketch:
I am a freshman astrophysics major at Yale. I've lived my whole life in Seattle, and went to Eastside Preparatory School. In high school, I did four years of FTC robotics as an engineer, captain, and 3D printer whisperer, and was on an academic team building a Farnsworth-Hirsch Fusor. I love birds and space, and for fun I design and 3D print nifty toys, and new parts for my 3D printer. I plan to go to Mars one day, but until then I'm having a blast on Earth, and I'm always trying to learn cool stuff :) (also my photo seems to be sideways no matter what I try!) Past Classes(Clicking a class title will bring you to the course's section of the corresponding course catalog)E4222: 3D Modeling in OpenSCAD in Splash Spring 2020 (Apr. 11, 2020)
An introductory course to OpenSCAD, a free and fun code-based 3D computer aided design (CAD) program! Learn how to make really cool objects from basic shapes (cube, sphere, cylinder), and simple transformations. This would be a good course for anyone interested in or looking to learn more about 3D design or programming, or anyone looking for a fun hobby! No programming or 3D design experience is necessary.
