Brief Biographical Sketch:

Amber (they/she) is a junior at Yale double-majoring in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Psychology. Their academic interests include Black feminist theory, feminist approaches to therapy, and the ways in which psychology has been weaponized against marginalized populations. At Yale, they are an editor for Broad Recognition, Yale's feminist magazine, a Matriculate advising fellow, a Community Health Educator, and a member of Yale's Undergraduate Prison Project. Amber is also an Academic Strategies Peer Mentor and helps Yale undergraduates develop strategies to overcome academic challenges. This is Amber's first year teaching for Splash and they are so excited!
