In an age where social media is our way of communication, how can marketers target their audience? In this class we learn what martketing is and how social media such as Facebook and Instagram play a new roll in the marketing world.


A2607: Developing relationships: How Masculinity affects Heterosexual Relationships: in Splash Spring 17 (Apr. 08, 2017)
Dating can be difficult! Join me as we unpack recorded interviews that I conducted with males ages 18-22 as they explain their love lives and why masculinity affects their heterosexual relationships. We will analyze their relationships and discuss why communication is the key to all successful relationships.

Ever wonder what it takes to write for Cosmo? Delish? GQ? In this class we will talk about what makes a good news story, feature story, and blog post. We will write a story together and discuss different ways to approach the same story. We will also discuss how to publish stories on social platforms with catchy titles to draw readers in. Nowadays it isn’t just about being a good writer, it’s about knowing your audience and knowing how to attract them.

Together we will set a plan for how to fix their social media problems or how to help them grow as a company.
