Brief Biographical Sketch:

Ian Applegate worked in the photovoltaic industry as a system installer and later as a designer. He has taught himself graphic design skills and converted what he's learned professionally into a curriculum for photovoltaics directed at a general audience of high school students, in the interest of a more well-informed and educated public. The material taught in his program is about the available technology being used at this moment.
