Brief Biographical Sketch:

My name is Kasidet Manakongtreecheep and I am a senior at Yale, studying Biochemistry Biophysics. My passions, however, have always been in music. I've been in school orchestra, jazz band, concert band, strings quintets, quartets, trios, you name it! I will be teaching this class with a friend of mine who has a lot of experience in showtunes, jazz and EDM. Hopefully our combined knowledge and love for music could cover the expanse of this class!

All Aboard! Come join Kas and Chen on this musical rollercoaster as we explore the development of music from bone flutes to Mr. Swaggy himself. This class will be a listening and student reaction-focused romp through the history of music.
