Brief Biographical Sketch:

As a child, A Bug's Life was one of my favorite movies. Now that I am a third year Environmental Engineering major at Yale, I'm excited to share some insights about media, memes and millipedes (and bugs more generally speaking). Bugs are often perceived as alien, but a few lucky species are more personified than others. Why do bugs make you tick, and what role might the media play in creating buzz about insects?
