Brief Biographical Sketch:

Jasper is a sophomore in Yale College hoping to study Ethics, Politics, and Economics. He is interested in the future of inter-state conflict, military ethics, and the role of disruptive technologies in contemporary geopolitics. Outside of classes, Jasper splits his time working on the Peace and Dialogue Leadership Initiative and debating in the Yale Political Union. In free time, he enjoys running, hiking, and reading presidential biography. Jasper hails from Kensington, Maryland and is an avid fan of the Washington Nationals.

H4059: The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict in Historical Perspective in Splash Fall 2019 (Nov. 16, 2019)
This hour-long course aims to give students an exposure to the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the factors of the relationship which have continually hindered the diplomatic process. Students will gain an understanding of the peace process and aims of conflict resolution, and will also learn about contemporary proposals for agreements to end the conflict.
