Brief Biographical Sketch:

Emmy is a senior at Yale University who loves teaching for Splash. She has been a co-director for both Splash and Sprout. Outside of Splash, Emmy plays Ultimate Frisbee with the Yale club team and finds new ways to be involved in the great Elm City.

Have you ever wanted to throw a scoober? Do you want to know what a scoober is? Join two players on the Women’s Club Frisbee Team for an interactive workshop on the art of frisbee throwing. We’ll start with a brief lesson on the history and physics of these flying discs. Then, we’ll learn basic throws and some cool tricks to impress your friends.

S204: Immunition in Splash Fall 12 (Oct. 20, 2012)
This course will cover the basics of the immune system. Learn about how the body fights invasion by pathogens. The immune system's "ammunition" comes in many shapes and sizes from tiny antibodies to engulfing macrophages. Thanks to these flu fighters, our body stays healthy.
