Resonance 2013

What is Resonance?

It's a scientific outreach event for Sophomores and Juniors hosted by Yale Synapse, an undergraduate organization. Resonance includes presentations by Yale professors, TED talks and seminars given by Yale undergraduates, and tours of Yale facilities. Breaking away from traditional scientific teaching, Resonance presents science in a way that is applicable to our daily lives and future goals. What is science exactly? Where did it come from? Rather than telling you, let us immerse you in all Yale has to offer for a full day. By the end, we promise science will resonate with you.

Many different communities at Yale, including TEDxYale, Yale Scientific Magazine, Splash at Yale, and Yale Admissions, are collaborating to make Resonance happen.

The Essentials

Sophomores and juniors in high school are invited to apply for Resonance 2013. We've designed the day for this age group, and it may be too advanced for younger students. If you have questions or exceptional circumstances, please feel free to contact us.

Resonance 2013 will be held on Yale's main campus in New Haven, CT. Details on exact buildings and room numbers will be sent to accepted students.

For accepted students, participation costs will be fully funded by Yale Synapse.
